Information on Korean Oriental Medicine
Korean medicine has a long history. The key unique feature of Korean medicine, which embodies the traditions of classical oriental medicine, is the Sasang Constitution, which divides the human body into four types based on its structure. According to this theory, in view of the individual characteristics of the human body, the patient is treated not with common treatment methods, but with an individual approach. The physician prescribes treatment and diet considering the patient's age, sex, lifestyle, type of activity, body’s energy and water balance, bone-muscle mass, protein, minerals and fats.
